If that fogged tile SW of the flood plains is a food source, I'll be a very happy man

Edit: wait. now I clearly remember you telling us about the cease fire. 34 players is so many...

Oh Commodore, how could I ever have doubted you? Never again!
Would you settle A or B? I'm going to settle A, although if I definitely see the merit in B.
And the fact that this is a grain food is big. It means i can go straight to Pottery if I want to, and not have to mess around with Hunting until it comes time for city #3. That means half-priced granaries can be chopped in cities faster. Need to start figuring out a tech path through the third city.
Worker finished in the capital, and it started farming the corn. We don't lose all that much commerce at all by farming the corn first - there's only two turns where we're not working the rice. And we save a turn on getting them both up and running, so I'd trade 2 food for 2 commerce here anyday.
And Ceiliazul, I circled the button that removes score in case I wasn't descriptive enough before.
I kind of want to see if i can write a script that will grab all the score changes off of Noble's tracking site to better track score changes without having to dig through all that text...

It's not my tracking site.
You could ask novice to add some Javascript to allow basic filtering. Should only take a handful of lines to do.

There I go swapping similar sounding words again: 'Noble' and 'Novice'. 'East' and 'West'. 'Rotting Cherries' and 'Dr. Pepper'

This makes the B-site a little more interesting. But still, I would have to get Animal Husbandry and Mysticism in order to pull it to it's full potential. And it's on the wrong side of the river, so moving between the two cities would suck (think worker turns lost). Plus it means I wouldn't be able to just beeline Pottery like I'm thinking about doing. How does having granaries in both my starting cities by turn 39 sound? Then I just need to get another settler out and settled in the mid 40s and I'll be quite happy. I may just have to play this like a BtS game in the early stages: whip and grow onto cottages
Think I'll work on that micro a bit tonight, although I really need to wait for BW to finish before deciding entirely.

Barry went and solved my religion question for me
Maybe he'll build me a shrine too?
Micro plan update:
Happy with my micro through turn 38. We'll settle city #2 on turn 32, and have granaries in both cities by turn 38. It'll be two workers at that point and I'm trying to sort out the best way to get worker and settler #3 built. But I'm not putting too much effort because copper is going to say a lot about where that next city goes.

Looks like Barry is to my east
I thought he came from the southeast, but he would have be very unlucky to do that and then miss this hut. I think more likely he came from the east and looped back after spying my capital.
And yay for huts! I'll probably wait for BW to finish before popping it, just in case I actually do get a tech.... (Who wants to bet it's another map?)
