Hi Krill,

Last turn was a real replay - we whipped our archer early in the turn rather than late because our opponents are very strict about the turn division. Frankly I wish you were still running things Apolyton Demogame style when it comes to the clock rules.

This turn is a replay for some people, but not for us. We never actually made any move this turn prior to the reload since we were negotiating with the Athlete team prior to moving.

Thanks for the clarification.

Turn played.

I liked that roading idea Regoarrarr, I went with that.

Spiros moved NW onto the hill he was on 2 turns ago. City swapped to archer, due in 1. Worker roaded 1 turn, and non-fortified archer moved onto the grassland forest hill with the worker.

And congratulations on taking the post count lead.

Logged in to check things out.

Their warrior moved on the forested hill - 27% odds for our archer.

Their chariot moved to the south out of range, and their 2nd chariot is to the SE, also out of range for this turn.

I would recommend for Spiros to move N-NW onto the hill, and generally move SW

Probably road with the worker - with it being on the road we can always come back and finish the chop when we want / need to. If we don't chop, please put a sign on that tile saying 2t chop so we remember

Since the char is out of range, how about road w/ worker 1 and chop w/ worker 2?

Ah right - I forgot we have 2 workers. Do we continue with the Oracle?

In some ways, it's kind of nice having that extra chop only 1t away whenever we need it.

I'm up for whatever you think is best

T63 played. I went ahead and roaded and chopped w/ the two workers. Oracle is now due in 7.

Spiros the warrior can be promoted to Guerrilla (forest) II and is moving NW.

All three enemy chariots are now in our land, but only 1 can hit our capital this turn. Additionally, the only way they can try to block our workers and archer from getting back into our city is via moving their warrior 1NE onto the grassland roaded hill where we will have good odds on him.

Sorry fellows I was in Orlando the last few days and forgot to mention that fact. It looks like I missed only one turn at least wink.

My only observation at this point since I'm a bit behind is do we really need a fourth Archer? They aren't the kind of units we can use to extract revenge. I want to keep Athens of course but the sooner we get a strategic resource online (and the probably requires The Oracle), the sooner we start building troops that are a bit more useful.
