Turn 42. I popped in to see if I could play the turn without further simming, but there's a barb warrior that we might need to consider. Barbs in red, our units in blue.
Also, Cheater Hater popped a tech from a hut.
I have to run.

Barb will not enter borders yet due to number of cities on the continent, unless it can pillage that rice.

That said, I think we have to change the plan. I can't figure out the micro that well any more though.

Not really a complaint, more of an observation: every resource we want to settle for is away from the other inhabitants of this continent, and dtay got a copper/gold city as the perfect front city against us.

As a heads up, I'm going to be busy tonight and most of tomorrow day but if you want to talk about the game tomorrow afternoon or evening I'll be around whenever is best for you.

I think we go worker three and four and then settler for the whosit front in the cap. Saving the last whip for the settler. 1 bowman from overflow, one chopped in the front city if necessary. DS as originally planned but settle gold instead of front city towards dtay. Fits with units and worker locations. Maybe even share seafood with DS. Settle copper and front with settler five and six.

Works for me. Biggest fear is the cost in terms of being able to defend a HA rush but honestly, fuck it. I'll take that gamble.

Turn 43.
The situation is highly dynamic, to use chess jargon. We're getting to the stage where the turns actually require a bit of thinking, so that's fun.
Screenshots, I'll save the commentary for later but if I'm reading those cultural borders correctly, Whosit's capital is to the northwest of the city that we've spotted.
We have graphs on everyone, where should we put our EPs? On Whosit?
I have to run.

I logged in to check the health of our lionslayer (it's at 58hp) and I notice that Whosit has canceled his ivory camp but hasn't moved the worker yet. Also he whipped a city and updated his thread.
