Turn 46.
The barb warrior moved 1W which is pretty ideal. It's now SW-S of our northern warrior, which can move 1S onto a jungled hill behind a river.
For record-keeping, Cheater Hater got his third city on t45, I think it was.
Whosit may have built a monument in Overland Park.
Dtay has starting putting 4EPpt on us in response to us doing it to him.
I'm waiting to move our warriors and click end turn until after Whosit has played.
I have to run.

You know that jungle hill has a fair amount going for it as a front city, rather than the northern grass hill.

Indeed.
The southern front city is still our next city, right?

Yeah I'd still go for the southern front city first. We can then back track those workers to help at the copper city later on. The northern front city, well, if you wanted to we could do that with the fourth settler for the jungle hill and delay the gold city? I know that's a bit of a flip-flop but it is in a slightly different position. Personally I think I still prefer the gold city but the MM might work out better this way?

I think city four by the gold works nicely. The MM fits, we kickstart it with a work boat, and we don't have the units to defend a front city.
It feels like we should be able to get borders that suit us in the northwest either way.

Hey, it works for me. so long as we get that southern front city I'm generally fine with conceding land to the NW to try and get ahead start on the "islands".

Turn 47.
The barb warrior didn't attack but moved 1N. I agonized a bit about what to do with our warrior, and ultimately decided I want it south ASAP, since we'll have two workers and a settler running around outside our borders, and they're currently guarded by a single warrior. So I moved it SE from where you see it in this screenshot.
This means that the barb could potentially move northeast and threaten to pillage our rice, which would suck. It wouldn't suck as much as getting messed up in the south would, though.
I have to run.

SE is fine, I wouldn't expect the barb to beeline to our rice TBH. What's the eta on a bowman?
