[SPOILERS] Zanth and Bacchus conquer the Amber Gugohn

Bah, Worker micro getting messed up meant we missed a turn on the mine after all, and the Settler will take 6 turns, rather than 5. We will have 18 overflow. Actually, the mine is only contributing to the overflow now, so perhaps shouldn't even have been built, the Settler itself is unaffected. I started cottaging in any case.

Buddhism founded in Void Spider. A bit sad, as it's coastal and raidable, but at at least there is only 1 sea tile adjacent, so not too hard to guard.

Though gems are less important due to monarchy->HR, maybe CITY 2 would be slightly better?

We will build city marked II first, but on the other side of the lake, so it can use the capital's rice to grow.

Settler completed, but unfortunately he can't go to the settlement location immediately, as there is a fogged tile and we don't want to risk it. We also completed Priesthood and started on Oracle, I don't even think we have any competition for it, Hinduism is still up for grabs. Thus, we will build it at a leisurely pace, getting some overflow from a 2-pop whip into the Granary along the way. Frankly, because of religion our happiness situation is already going to be much better than expected, so perhaps we should pick something other than Monarchy from Oracle. Additionally, given how late people are with researching Priesthood, and how strong our claim to Oracle is (I don't think anybody would expect to race us and win at this stage), we can be a little greedy in researching pre-requisities. But only a little, there is no way, alas, that we can get both Monarchy and Writing to grab Feudalism off Oracle. I think. Code of Laws and Mathematics are realistic options though. CoL is a bit of a non-tech, albeit it will speed up access to Civil Service down the line (way down the line) and deny another religion to someone. Maths is cheap, which makes it painful to pick up from Oracle, but it is the tech we would most like to research and it gives the immediate boost to chops. Namely, we will be pulling 67 hammers from each chop when building Settlers, which is nuts. We have three grass mines, a plains mine, a grass cow and a plains hill plant, giving us 25hpt, so we can build 2 Settlers in 3 turns with just 2 chops.

Hinduism was researched this turn, but the idea to obtain something except monarchy is interesting: 2 luxury resources and religion makes happiness less vital.
Idea of CoL looks good, another religion would be great, delaying opponents and helping in generation of priests
Another idea is MC of course, there're lots of forests, forges could be chopped quite quick

p.s. though colossus is significantly cutted, maybe MC could wait. And btw plus of monarchy is that HR and slavery could be switched to at once.

I didn't move the warrior after all, if those barbs become an issues, we should just chop a chariot in the capital.

It seems, we should start chopping?

A few words about future planning:

After obtaining math w/ oracle we must use this advantage at once. There're lots of forests and being Imp it's time to chop-whip-chops lots of settlers and expand fast. Moreover, there is a pleasant island to the south, that would give more commerce and after 2nd island city or foreign trade -- it would make sense to research currency.

As for now, it's good to obtain fishing-sailing-currence for galleys, and lh lakes firstly and then plantations and MoM. Btw, IMP/FIN is awesome here: lots of territory, faster settlers, even more faster w/ math. We should use this.

Yeah, I was pondering the fishing/sailing over currency dilemma for a while now, not sure how to go with it. We only need the maritime techs for one of the first fiveish cities, and activating lakes there has to be weighed against something like 50-70 gold we will lose by having currency 10 turns later.
