I've only played t138. Dtay didn't ambush us, I've put the HAs in TtL to heal and the elephants in PE. Saving gold. Got Finharry's graphs, he and dtay seem to be the top contenders currently, being up 10ish cities on us.
I guess we should work the plains hill in Eggcorn over a cottage, and starve slightly while speeding up the palace. Moai due in WA in 5-ish turns, it may be the best spot for the National Epic as well, as you mentioned in your video. Should we put the Heroic Epic in RC, or is that just stupid?
Our scout is moving through Dazed's lands, we're about to learn more about Dtay's neighbours. Dtay is on Meditation this turn.
I have to run.

I can't think of a better place for the NE that isn't stupendously dangerous ie Cf or DS. WA is absolutely fine for NE IMO.
HE has to go in RC IMO. Dangerous but necesarry. Will need some defensive cultural infra. Will need to get a good number of pikes and maces to improve the cities defence. unfortunately we do not have enough cities that make enough hammers to have any other viable options for that purpose. i suppose that pass mustard might be a viable option but if we do that we are aiming specifically to attack ruff. i think that is our only option for future warfare except if we alpha strike dtay and take whosits old capital from him and then culture bomb it. we would then need to defend from dtay whilst we took his southern cities from him. attacking rough is more likely to have success compared to that scenario. but if we attack ruff then we still need to defend from dtay because of that i think the heroic epic should go in the city that can build it which is roll call.
i am not sure that city count is entirely indicative of power at this point even though those teams have a lot of cities in revolt and we'll get more when they need to invest quite a lot of hammers into infrastructure. Our cities are widely spaced and with high happy cap and health cap we i have an opportunity to become quite well developed fairly quickly. if we can build those last few cities we should be fairly comparable to their capabilities. if we get military tradition and steel quickly and off we will have an opportunity to kill ruff. unfortunately those technologies are not near the economic technologies we need for stop. i think we need to get printing press and economics and at that point we will get through to technology treevery quickly.

Turn 139. I decided to turn on tech, we can get Feudalism this turn, Code of Laws next turn, and Civil Service the turn after. It will still be until t147 before we can start a golden age, but let's get access to the units and chain irrigation now.
Making 701 base beakers at max tech, with -332 gpt. We have 963 gold in the bank. Breakeven tech rate is about 330 base beakers. (Just above 40% slider).

We are missing moloch pin and myki off contacts. Myki will be met by the the dazed scout next turn when it moves onto the hill. Pin will likely be last as he is near to dtay but god knows where exactly. Moloch was at war with AT earlier so if we get OB with him we can probably get contact with moloch quickly.

Also missing Zanth. IIRC we can see Molach's borders on the cultural overlay, we'll meet him soon east of BGN / south of Cyneheard.
