Novice are you making workshops to use in the GA? At that point we will have every workshop boost except SP.

I just about started. But are you thinking of paving over cottages?
I have to run.

To put it another way, I've stopped building cottages a long time ago. But it's been mostly roads, chops, farms and mines lately.

Yeah I don't think we really have another cottage city in us any more. So no paving over cottages in OT or Ec imo but maybe pave over the token cottages at DS and RC.
I was mainly asking about how you intended to maximise the GA yields.

I haven't really planned much for that except grow the cities as large as possible. I will however 5-whip a forge in WA so I can chop the Moai to completion, and the city needs the extra happy anyway.
I suppose we should figure out which cities will be working specs and prioritize tile improvements in the other cities.
Just to recap, what are our great people plans for the golden age?

We have options. We could try and push a GA from PE. Or Rc but HE there makes more sense. Maybe a GE or a GS from FR is a good idea. Might be able to sneak taj with a low odds GE. Just. Red to pick two cities that will get at least close to popping out the next gp by about t168...

Mind Grain and Cuddlefish should probably be on GP duty at least, they're big and food-rich but have almost no improved tiles, they're just working coast. With Mind Grain on GP duty it will be stealing one of Free Reign's seafood resources.
Turn 141 played. What I thought were Molach's borders were actually Azza's, boo.

How many beakers is guilds? I know Banking is 1207. I think 2 turns saving is enough to get guilds eot t145 then banking eot t147 and trigger GA t148 with revolt and into every civic. But that last turn of banking is close at break even...

Mind grain is a solid choice. I agree with your opinions on that. I think we need to kill ruff and q. But t 1 maybe 2 infra builds per city in GA. Get lit. Get paper. Get pp then save gold. Break even research after lit due to banks in key cities. Save gold after banks complete? Aim for econ in second GA as planned before. Then mil trade and steel? Or astro first for cheap observatories?
the best thing we can do to slow down dtay is to get someone else to research astronomy because gallions will mak dtay obsolete the colossus which will slow down his tech rate. But its not bad for use and opens up options for gutting ruff.

Also those stats are legit for top 5 civ. Better than I thought we'd be doing by this point.
