Steam will have a long way to go to catch up. Twitch has a pretty big community built there largely due to way streamers make money. Would be very difficult for them to switch and keep their subs meaning not good move financially even if Valve offers just as good of deal or even slightly better. Plus they still need to add support for overlays, webcams and all that jazz which looks like it doesn't have.
Good to see it happening though as Twitch needs some competition since others shut down.
