Yeah that's a pretty unsatisfying way to go. ot4e is a civfanatics guy right? Interesting to have a different perspective on early aggression, even though shipping two chariots on a galley on a never to return voyage is a huge gamble for 110 hammers on or about t50.

The problem now is that we put those three together so that they could keep each other in check. Only two civs on this continent puts them (and especially Gavaganth who didn't commit any hammer to this) in a much better spot than we intended.

I f he takes time can be very good, he lead the Rusian team(ladder but they were mostly russians) on ISDG and they done very well.
And if they manage to take second city from OH then gavgai might be in trouble.
