Civilization 6 Events

Well, in this thread we have 15-21 people that have unofficially 'signed up', so if we started it right now as a potluck with 8 civs there would be at least 2 people playing every start. That's not counting any 'on-the-fence'-er's, or anyone who would sign up actually closer to release. I think worries that there wouldn't be enough other plays to compare to won't come to fruition.

I think it'd also make sense to advertise this to any of the other still active Civ communities. More players, more variety of approaches, more interesting reading, more learned about the game; don't see any downsides there, and I'm sure at least a few will be interested.

I am a little confused -- the pre-order price is the same as release price? What's the catch? 90 days, or whateer, of Aztecs?

I tried this and clicked on the discount link, but when I got to the order page it was charging the full $60; did it look that way for you or show $48 on the checkout?

I just looked at the receipt, and it shows: Order Total: $47.99 before tax.
It has the prime symbol next to the price.

I was on the fence, but dangit I pre ordered. Brick has sold enough copies just in this thread, he should get a free copy from the studio.
