Should we also add the difficulty level, barbs, and how leaders/civs will be picked?

Noble/prince/monarch (prefer Noble)
No barbs - not in AW,
leaders/civs, still listening
Edit - Crosspost.
Anything above monarchy will lead to some very...slow games. Don't forget that there is no relying on diplomacy to guard a flank, and you have to tech everything yourself.

Noble/No Barbarians is good for me.
Snake pick is pretty standard (unrestricted leaders), right?

Snake pick is workable, although my proposal to have the Vets pick (to be more certain that the combos will work), then randomize who gets what probably wouldn't fly.
I know what the first 3 would be, but after that it gets a bit hazy.

Noble > Prince > Monarch
No Barbs
Snake if unrestricted; probably the fairest. Pair the green + vet before the pick, or after?

Question: City Elimination, or no? Either works in AW, but I suppose no city elimination is best for NTT.

I say no city elim limit. Destroy your foes, merely damaging them isn't enough.

If you play on Inland Sea, I strongly recommend that someone give the map a look over before you play. This script generates some very unbalanced starting locations.

Was going to ask you to do that Speaker You know what a CTON map should look like if it is balanced, better than anyone else on this forum.
