I am not bothered if we use the mod or not...although i am not entirely sure i know how to play a turn in this pbem thing...I will wait til its my go and try and figure it out i guess :P

So it sounds like I should expect the save to get mailed to me, and then I change my in-game name to Kylearan. Should I then upload the save after I've played, or send it to the next player?

I think in your case, Kylearan, you should try both, since Krill will start T1.
One thing I appreciate about the NoScore mod already: Since it shows everyone's player ID, it's really easy to remember who's next.

Apparently I didn't force this enough and it never got changed 
I've now received the save which I owe to Whosit by late evening CST. I don't actually want to play this save for like 10 hours, and can't play it for like four. Darrell tells me the order can't be changed though

Hmm . . . could be a problem. If you don't play until 10 hours from now, I probably can't play until . . . 30+ hours from now. Sorry, I missed the time conflict, as well.
If the game really can't be restarted with a new order, I guess we could switch civs, although I kinda like my pick.

This means your ideal time is 7 - 8 am English Time...that should pretty much make you first / last of the vets i would think...I am surprised it already cannot be changed when some people don't seem to have had their first turns yet for vets?
Us greens started it then had to restart it again a second time as some things need to be changed, am sure people would not mind restarting turn 1?

We shouldn't switch civs, because I don't want to cause any questions about my intentions raising this issue 
Darrell tells me a text editor can change the player order. I'm trying to learn more now.

We can always restart, and I can change the order if need be.
