changing the player order is straight forward but fiddling - basically, you want to swap team / player x with team / player y. I did it for pbem#1. Say you want #2 and #5 to swap, here is what you need to do ...
- open the WB file in notepad
- scroll down to the 'BeginTeam' section for #2 and #5 and swap their techs
- scroll down to the 'BeginPlayer' section for #2 and #5 and swap everything except for 'Team=?'
- search in the 'plot' section for 'UnitOwner=2' and swap (be careful with this as you might need to swap a warrior to a scout and / or adjust the promotions (free combat for aggressive) - it might be easier to just swap the whole 'BeginUnit / EndUnit' section between the two plots involved
- search for 'TeamReveal=?' and swap
I think I have it all. Any comments from others? You might want to test it with a dummy WB game.
I have finally decided to put down some cash and register a website. It is www.ruffhi.com. Now I remain free to move the hosting options without having to change the name of the site.

Yeah you probably can't work out my preferred time from my post since I'm not working at the moment and my days have been very flexible. I figured I would slot in easily with you guys since I'm on the other side of the world so I'd probably be playing when everyone was asleep. To be more specific though, at the moment my preference to play is in the large range of 11am-11pm my time. Since I'm GMT+10, I assume this is from 1am-1pm GMT time. So based on what Malakai gathered perhaps I would be best playing after him and before Cull?

Ok, so here's the final order:
1. Strike
2. Kyan
3. Malakai
4. Seifer
5. Jowy
6. Cull
Now about changing the order.. Can't we just restart the game? Only Strike played so it wouldn't be too much of a hassle. Just play your turn exactly like you played it the first time around. If the tracker goes apeshit, then I guess we could just make a new game over there too.

Yeah but surely we need to tell the tracker who plays in what turn.
Either way it seems several people in this thread know how to do it, just let me know when I need to do something.
The new posting order sounds great

I'm getting different "Rival Average" Crop Yield and MFG stats than I did the first time the vets game was played, so it seems likely that one of either Krill or Darrell are working different tiles this time?
Until it's straightened out, I'm holding the vet's turn with me.
This is what happens when I civ when tired...unfortunately, I can't remember what tile I worked, so how would we do a restart?

I think I know what I did the first time around, but I'm not positive. I had planned on sandboxing it but due to domestic situations that arose I had to play quickly to avoid holding up the game any longer. Since then I've put my sandbox in place and come up with my plan. I'm fairly certain that I played according to my sandox, but its quite possible that isn't how I played the first time around .

Actually the solution is fairly simple. I'll send Cynehard a second save with what I might have done differently the first time around and if the demographics match, then he can play that save (and I can sandbox my alternate reality).

Info post updated. I could be wrong here, but the problem I see is that:
The order of the civs is set from the scenario that speaker built. We can only change player order without editing the file if people also swap civs.

It sounds like Ruff knows how to edit the file. So why not just ask him to do so? Or am I going to have to make you guys a new map?

I thought you could assign them when starting. We'll need to edit the file then (no idea how!), or let someone more experienced edit it, or ask Speaker to fix it for us.
