PBEM4 - Email and Technical Issues

Cyneheard, when you replayed the save (from differnet starts), did you overwrite hte original file, or or did you delete the original file and then save? If you overwrote, that breaks the game. Need to delete the original and then replay.
Current games (All): RtR: PB83

Ended games (Selection): BTS games: PB1, PB3, PBEM2, PBEM4, PBEM5B, PBEM50. RB mod games: PB5, PB15, PB27, PB37, PB42, PB46, PB71 PB80. FFH games: PBEMVII, PBEMXII. Civ 6:  PBEM22 PBEM23Games ded lurked: PB18

Really though, Krill has brought up what I consider the best argument I've heard for PBEM - it removes the overpowered end-of-turn resource pillaging, so I'm not as opposed to the format as I once was.

Ironically I don't see it as all that bad - just agree to not disconnect resources except via nukes. Nothing you can't stop by placing some workers on the tile.

Even with nukes, you can still reconnect if you have enough worekrs say 2-9 tiles away to scrub fallout, reconnect, right?

Yeah, I was thinking mainly of hills and those without fast workers.

If you want the green game sorting out, need someone else to do it, I'm going to work until the end of today, and working hte weekend, so not all that available.

We'll need to fix the save again then. Krill will be busy this weekend, so the start of this game will likely have to be pushed a couple more days further. Though if there's someone else who can fix the save, please do!
