Yes Ky, but I think that is partly down to him being bad at diplomacy and possibly a bit overawed by the 'spectre of Spulla'.
I am not defending what he did, but I don't think we should be so strong in our criticism and suddenly paint him as a total bastard. He's played a very shady and underhand move and he will pay for it both in game and out of it, but please can I ask for some restraint!

If I can just add another thought quickly:
I think Athlete is much more a bad player than a bad person. He DESPERATELY needed a more experienced/hands-on partner with him for this game to keep him in check, and with Kalin barely being around, I think the water has gone way over his head.
He has made a massive error and he will pay for it badly, but please lets not crucify him and refuse to play with him in the future. I think he's a good guy who's just lost control of his game and pretty much had to do one dishonourable move or another to keep up.
And please keep it out of his thread!

How would that be any worse than what Athlete's doing right now? This is worse than breaking a NAP. And really my commen came because Athlete has been pulling stunts like this all game and no one has punished him for it, so I'd like to see someone finally have the guts to do it.

It is neither better nor worse, but it lowers Spullla to Athletes' level so Spullla lose the moral high ground.

Agree with previous poster who said that Athlete has certainly made this game interesting.

It's a pity Sulla and Speaker haven't had some decent opponents in this game. Even with their lousy diplomacy they have managed to get the other teams to tear out each other's throats.

Yeah if only some RB veterans had teamed up they could have made a strong opponent - unless they got chariot rushed of course. 
Joking/needling aside, Plako and DMOC seem like good players, but the former started next to aggressive (and hostile) Rome, and the latter wasn't much involved in the early game.
