Haha, well, that just gave me the best laugh I've had in a few days. I can already tell that joining RB is going to be a learning experience 
Anyway, does anyone know how much longer this limbo is going to continue? I keep hearing back and forth that the game is either ending or continuing.

Yes, and the reason they wouldn't have gotten away with it is that Spullla would have taken an epic "I'm taking the ball and going home" hissy fit. The same "cryptic 25 page" document that is impossible to follow would become reasonable and necessary. My sense is that Nakor just doesn't care that much and wants to just get this thing over with and I can hardly blame him at this point. It would be different if this game were still close, perhaps.

Odds are others already HAVE "gotten away with" such, and nobody noticed because the other players don't report in such detail.

Actually I don't think so. Atleast not since Krill's rules have been in place. I was quite careful to not (knowingly) break any rules and I PM'd Krill prior to some (not just my own) declarations to make sure we got them right and didn't cause any debates. From what I was able to see as a player nobody else has broken any rules throughout their wars apart from Spullla, and now Spullla/Dantski. This particular one I was quite aware of as it would have made our initial CoW attack a lot easier to coordinate had we been able to move/attack in any sequence at any time (during our time frame). Might not have had much impact on the final outcome though
Prior to that I think Kalin and I probably got away with a bit much when we were able to change the rules of war in our oust of the Byzantines. In hindsight I think I agree with Sunrise that once the game is started, you shouldn't change the rules. At the time I really didn't understand MP play at all and the impact these rules could have. I still probably don't grasp it as much as some vets but the experience is there now.

Why do you say they got away with something? Krill looked at the save, discussed the situation with HRE, and then told sunrise to reload the game. Do you think that was just for show?
