[pb74 spoilers] FUNNY IMAGE THREAD

Totally worth it. Thirty turns of research well spent!

Gavagai crushed Piccadilly's reinforcements, leaving only my former capital exposed. I could probably take it for myself if I had the tech for catapults...

Gavagai conquered back all of my former cities, save for the one superdeath took.

There's a good chance he goes after me next, since now I'm the one culture crushing those lands.

Can we get a screenshot of your capital please?

I settled the great people I had rather than bulbing because I figured I'd get more yields in the long run... sadly the city is health capped on size

pointless colony #2. I only realized the whales were there and orphaned after I settled  smoke.

Can you trade for any more health now you have Astro?

We need a scale for "Capital cities after being forcibly moved due to invasion" scale. It's not quite Ottawwa but Texcoco looks decent enough.

I suppose I could, I'm just lacking the stuff to trade for other resources. All I got is one stone, one fur, and a couple of seafoods - Gavagai demanded my only deer for free, and I obliged, given that he was rescuing me from superdeath

I really need to start making less accurate predictions

Gavagai didn't just go for the city culturally pressuring his conquests, so he is going for the kill here. Just a question of whether I get eliminated from this game first or PB75. He didn't seem happy about doing so when PMing me about the turn split, so I guess the economy from the extra cities + killing the motherland unhappiness must have been necessary.

It is good to see a remnant civ get Galleons to settle Astronomy colonies to survive longer, especially since CTH made that more difficult. I hope BESTCOLONYEVER is not too tempting for Gavagai to let you live a little while longer.
Can you believe I thought I might outlive you?

Even though my artic colonies are pretty worthless, I think gavagai will want to finish me off just to ensure there is no want to rejoin the motherland unhappiness.

I have no idea what your situation is / was like, so I can't comment on who would appear more likely to survive.

Gavagai took my island cities, but offered to spare me with my two arctic ones. I'll take it.

Now I just need 15 turns to whip a work boat out, then a lighthouse, then I can think about building more settlers. Will the game still be going on by that point? Who knows.
