FYI, Civ's asset checking looks at every file in the directory, even files that don't normally belong to Civ. If you renamed a modded file to another name, that fails the assets validation. Need to move any such files out of the Assets folder entirely.

Guys, have a slight problem. My desktop can't or won;t connect to hte 'net, and my laptop version of CIV won't even start, just locks up once it tries to initialise. I'm working tomorrow (8th twelve hour day in 10...), I have a funeral to go to Friday, and an open day for a new university course on Saturday and back in work on Sunday. I'll try to get the save moved along, but I'm going to have to ask you all to bear with me for a few days while I figure out what the fuck has gone wrong with my computers.

Hmm Greens game is now on the turn that vets stated they were on 2 weeks ago, wonder how many turns vets have played in the last 2 weeks, ie what the current turn gap is between the two games.

Hey guys, this is a message for the greens' game. Due to some unforeseen circumstances I'll be out of the country for a week. I don't know if I'll have internet access but I definitely can't complete any turns while I'm away. I am writing this message just as I'm about to leave so please accept my sincerest apologies for holding the game up and not having been able to organise a replacement player in time. I'll make it up to you all with some rapid turn playing on my behalf after I get back. Apologies once again.
