My apologies for going AWOL - I had been sick, and during the time I haven't been sleeping I had to care for my family which was sick as well. We're okay now again, and I've played my turn. Sorry again.

Unfortunately a family thing has come up and I won't be able to do any civ'ing until Monday.

I'm now thoroughly, thoroughly pissed off with my bosses at work breaking an agreement, so it looks like I'll be on nights from the 5th of November until next year, along with a little bit of garbage over Christmas (not that I expect us to be playing then, we'll likely pause, right?)
Unless I find another job in the meantime.

I'm not sure what this means for our game, but I know that this doesn't sound good for you personally. Continuously being on night shifts isn't fun - been there, don't want to do that again.

It means I'm probably going to be playing the turn at weird times of the day, unless I have a nervous breakdown, in which case I won;t be playing them at all.

That sucks.
And over the holidays, my take is that if you want to play your turns, feel free to. If you don't want to play your turns, don't worry about it.

Hi guys, I'm back and I've played my turn. I'm sorry for holding the game up for a week and thanks everyone for being so considerate while I was away. Unfortunately I had to leave the country for a funeral which was quite unexpected, but hopefully I can help get the turn moving quickly again to make up for lost time!
