Victory conditions will be assigned based on the civ you randomly draw. Each of the five victory conditions will be assigned to a civ trait. Each civ has two traits, which will determine which two victory conditions that civ must pursue.

Aztecs: Conquest and Cultural
Germany: Conquest and Space Ship
Greece: Space Ship and Diplomatic
Iroquois: Cultural and Domination
Rome: Diplomatic and Conquest
Zululand: Conquest and Domination

Scoring: Victory through an assigned victory condition is considered a Win. Victory through any other condition, not matching your pair of assignments, is considered a Draw. Defeat is considered a Loss. Retirements or Incomplete games will earn no score. Results of both games will be combined to determine your final score.

If you are defeated, you need to play it out to the bitter end to determine the type of defeat. If you are defeated by way of one of your two assigned victory conditions (eg: Romans lose via diplo or conquest), then that's a Hard Loss. Losing by any other means is a Soft Loss.

Win: 5 pts
Draw: 3 pts
Soft Loss: 2 pts
Hard Loss: 1 pt
Incomplete: 0 pts
