It's going rather strangely. I've got a good board position but I'm miles behind in points. The game's on a bit of a knife-edge: can he push to a points victory before I can score a region or two to get things under control?

I'm planning to write up a short report (on Qt3) at the end of the game. I believe Brian is recording his side for YouTube, though it'll probably only be posted if the game turns out to be an interesting one.

Well, the game is over. It didn't play out like any other game of Twilight Struggle I've played.

For those of you who just want to know the result:

I won by nuclear war in turn 8 thanks to Brian getting a horrendously unfortunate draw. I was on the brink of defeat at that point, though there was maybe a 5% chance we would have made it through to final scoring, where I would likely have won by Europe control.

Woah, great result! Luck matters, but luck alone doesn't win on cm out tournaments. You should be proud of that
