Turn 026
We grew to size 3 this turn and are now working the grass spice. Governor wanted to work the plains spice but I was having none of that.
Things were considerably more exciting down south:
If there's seafood down there I will be ecstatic. Otherwise settle on the marble at some future point.
And I'm trying to figure out what Jester & Nakor are doing.
According to the tooltip that cow is hooked up, so they whipped off a bonus resource for something.
If they whipped then they finished a tech on the same turn because it doesn't show on the power.

Maybe. The stone looks like city #3, but the marble won't be until 5 or 6 at the soonest. I think this start just screams IW -> Calendar and now marble means building MoM is going to happen. 90% success prediction if we go that path.
Or we could try for a quick Literature and get the epics built fast. I don't like that as much because so many if our food tiles are jungled bananas. It's kind of forcing our play

Calendar and MoM for sure. We can follow that up with Literature.

I started to put together a turn 25 power ranking, but i really got nothing escept plako is still #1 and jester & nakor are probably going to be dropped due to their unusual start. I really should have done some bit of C&D just so i could say who was doing what. Or at least pretend like i knew.

Come on, you don't need information to pretend that you know something! Get with the program!

Yeah, pundits never use information, it's all gut instinct. Which is why everyone knows they are talking absolute shit and call them on it every time: pundits are fans punching bags.

You could always just go with some cliche about it being anybody's game, things are still RAZOR TIGHT, still early in the season, and that you don't win the championship in the preseason but it's all about preparing for success. Throw in a John Wooden line on self-actualization and leadership and you're good to go.
