Sorry for lack of updates. Not much happening, just moving Workers around mostly
The empire The horses Sad as it is, researching Mysticism and building a Monument could be the best way to claim the horses. I don't see a good city to get them, popping borders seems like the best option Not sure on the 4th city location, 4 of the pigs seems most reasonable, but I'd prefer to go in the other direction to get closer to the copper. Thinking hard about it... Demos
Don't build workers in newly planted cities. If you need to build workers to keep up with tile improvements, you should build them before you build the settler.
I generally wouldn't, but there was no other useful build in that city (I don't need more Warriors), and it could work the mine for a +2h bonus until the cow gets improved, so I felt it was the best option
I'm finally back from holiday and on a screenshot-capable computer. Here's where we are. Over the last few turns, I've been busy building cottages, and researching Pottery and Fishing. This turn, I founded the 4th city
A chop immediately went into a WB. This was an easy to settle spot, which also puts a city on the way towards the copper resource. Here's the settling plan for that I feel we have to expand in that direction rather quickly - I'm paranoid about having just Warriors for defence. I would like to settle the pig and wheat resources 9 of the capital, but with high maintenance costs on Torusland, I'm prioritising copper for now In terms of foreign relations, I found Ichabod some distance away from us He's playing an interesting game - he's still on 2 cities, but they're quite large. He's likely trying to use his Charismatic trait, but don't think vertical growth is worth sacrificing expansion So, Dtay is our close neighbour in the east, Ichabod a far away neighbour in the west. We also have contact with Noble, but don't know where he is. No contact with Seven Research is on Writing atm - once it's finished, I will be able to get a Library in Memphis and finally claim horses. Then we will be all set for further expansion. Not sure about post-Writing research yet, probably Maths - Currency? Both Buddhism and Hinduism were founded, and religion branch is not looking attractive atm - although we will want CoL at some point
Krill, way to tell yuris to wander for six turns then WC rush someone in a test game. Very classy.
Civilization IV: 21 (Bismarck of Mali), 29 (Mao Zedong of Babylon), 38 (Isabella of China), 45 (Victoria of Sumeria), PB12 (Darius of Sumeria), 56 (Hammurabi of Sumeria), PB16 (Bismarck of Mali), 78 (Augustus of Byzantium), PB56 (Willem of China)
Hearthstone: ArenaDrafts Profile No longer playing Hearthstone.
Of course he got to 4 cities first, he was Joao. What a shocker.
Don't troll the next test game, not everyone agrees with your vision for Civ4.

Noble I could troll a game and you still wouldn't have a chance to beat me; it's just depressing that you think I actually made any decisions this game and that yuris is my puppet. Yuris chose to do what he did because he agreed with my conclusions, so maybe you should actually get a clue that "my vision" for how to play isn't something unique to myself.
