As long as nobody is sending anyone angry PMs, we are fine.
Anyway, places like SA and RPGCodex are full of this. Not that it would be good for RB to turn into them, but just that it doesn't affect life expectancy by itself.

I think we are all mature enough to not let our political discussion in this thread affect the games we play here, or our behaviour towards other forum users in general, right? I mean that is basically what this thread is for essentially and why it's in a subforum. I think it's healthier for everyone that we have this place though, rather than just blanket banning poltical discussion altogether like many other gaming forums. Also if my statement came of as angry at you personally or even politically Krill that wasn't my intent and should not be taken as such.

Reminds me of what we had over the door in our old fencing gym "when the helmets are on, the politics are off". A code of honour we can all agree with I hope!

"What happened in politics thread should stay in politics thread", that should be the rule

We've been going about it all wrong in the metaphysics thread. The fundamental component of reality is that Krill is a heartless bastard.
But in this case, Krill is right and correctly deconstructed my fallacy. That refugees want help does not constitute a duty or obligation for any person or country to extend it.

This falls apart quite a bit if your country has its hands dirty in the cause of the refugee crisis to begin with.

It is if you want to solve a problem and whether you are Progressive or Conservative we all perseive the refugee crisis as a problem. Why you see it as a problem is the greater diffence. Whether it's those damn dirty foreigners coming into your land (the Conservative viewpoint) or just because you feel compelled by empathy to help your fellow humans. Now there are other solutions to consider to the problem of course, but that doesn't mean it's not a worldwide problem that needs dealing with.
