RB GvG - A Win!

Got
home late and tired out so I wasn't expecting any action at all. I was only going
to look over my new creation, Messy Meleen Mes/Wa, but I clicked the enter battle
button before I even opened the character tab. Good thing I hired all 4 henchmen
soon as I landed in the guildhall. Anyway, I was only half paying attention to
the system messages and wondering wtf did I do now. Would not be good to lose
a battle and have no one to blame ;p I am so not ready for this! AFAIK, losing
a GvG battle have point penalties ...grr Anyway,
I can hear the sound of battle and after a couple minutes of searching I found
dem red dots but I can't find my way to them. 6 minutes into the game (still no
clue how to get to the other side), the other party finally broke through and
entered my domain. This happened a couple more times and I remember someone saying
in the chat "wow" that is a lot of fire power".. I
was like "holy shit! if the other guy is praising how much power someone
else has, I don't stand a chance". Just how many battles are going on? I
got invaded 3 more times and I finally clued in the other guy was talking about
Messy being powerful when he did use his name in the comments.
Well yea, I
slaughtered them, and Messy came out without a scratch. So
cheers to the uber NOOBish KoP to bring home the first Guild War victory, now
we are officially on the ladder! And so, Messy's portrait will be on these pages
until we get an official RB banner. 
Okay,
now, here's the deal - I had no idea whatsoever what I was doing. I am sure Drasca
can attest to that, what with the most basic questions I kept messaging him....
My, I didn't even know what to do with the flags and how to open the gate when
I finally found it. All I know is that I have tried to target spell casters and
cast Backfire when I can, and most of the time I was just using "find next
target" and cast spells indiscriminately. Yup, that's right, I don't even
know the names of any skills I used other than Backfire. OMG, what a noob. Now,
if given the choice as to why I have won that battle:
(A) KoP is instinctly
awesome! (he doesn't even know it)
(B) Mesmer is over powered and needs balancing
(C)
The other person just plain suxor I
would have to say anything but A. KoP |
