Neverwinter
Vault |
If
I could only have access to one site (other than RBN and
BW) it would have to be this superb site. Here's a link
to the module page on, the place to search for a module
at the moment
|
Caverns
of Thunder |
A
fun dungeon romp. (WarLocke) |
Crystal
Tower |
Crystal
Tower was nothing spectacular, but a very solid module.
What I liked about it was that you could carry out the
main objective in at least three different ways. Brute
force, deceit, and economic :P (Charis)
|
Dark
Ranger's Treasure |
Decent
composition and execution; payout is borderline-uber.
(WarLocke) |
Dungeon
of the Fire Opal |
A
pretty good low-level dungeon romp. Includes Hard Core
bleeding rules. (WarLocke) |
Halls
of Advanced Training |
If
you don't have a mod to create/outfit a medium or high
lvl character yet, I would suggest 'The Halls of Advanced
Training. (Charis) |
Horde:
Orcs
|
Two
camps, one orc, one human, a very small number of bridges
in the middle, outposts to capture, and a boss for each
faction. Killing the latter and protecting your own
was the victory condition. I did it with a solo lvl
4 or 5, but would love to play this with FOUR people
- to have two distinct squads of two in order to better
take on the strategic aspects of the terrain. (Charis)

Neverwinter
Chess Revised |
It
approaches BattleChess in coolness factor. While it
doesn't quite have the freakingly cool fights BattleChess
did, it does have spellcasting pieces. Watching a White
Bishop Magic Missile a Black Knight from across the
board and then nonchalantly stroll over to the late
Knight's square is just... Awesome. (warLocke)
Original
BioWare Version - Play a Neverwinter Nights
version of Chess with a friend using this custom module
created at BioWare, and watch the pieces battle it out
as you tell them to move around the board!

Penultima
Pentultima
world map
|
The
3rd installment in the Penultima series, was also VERY
good. It included a twist at the end that got everyone's
goat. Still, that's a sign you've drawn in the characters
nicely. If you liked the earlier ones its a must-play.

Ruins
of Netheril |
A
nice long dungeon romp with a decent amount of dialogue;
some encounters are a bit tough. (WarLocke) |
Scourge
of Vallenwood |
Prevent
a dead necromancer from returning to life. A nice module
for a low-level group. (WarLocke) |
Spires
of Ravenloft |
Excellent
so far, easily a 7 or 8. It's for 1-6 players of lvl 4-8,
and we're going on the high end of that. It does a good
job of setting a story, I actually felt bad when our tactical
messup led to an NPC death. (Charis) |
Sunless
Citadel |
An
overall well-done adaptation of the first module published
for 3E D&D. (WarLocke) |
Sylvan
Lake Slavers |
One
of the first modules released, and a fairly good one at
that. Monsters respawn in this module. (WarLocke) |
To
Heir is Human |
A
short romp through Drow-infested caves. (WarLocke) |
Tragidor
|
I
just finished the BEST single player module I've seen
to date... Tragedy in Tragidor
Play this one! And do it ***SOLO**** (Charis)
|
Trouble
in Flarvendale |
A
good module despite frustratingly overpowered encounters.
(WarLocke) |
Black
List - Your Milage May Vary
|
|
Good
area, dialogue and journal/quest composition, but unnecessarily
tough encounters. (WarLocke) |
Cape
of Nur |
A
decent low-level module--until you run into the Goblin
Berserker Death Monks. (WarLocke) |
Devil's
Brew |
A
semi-short module with excruciatingly tough encounters.
(WarLocke) |
Farmlands |
There
isn't anything really "bad" about this module as there
isn't much of a point to it. (WarLocke) |
Kelick's
Tower |
This
town only contains two doors; one of them will take you
directly to the boss fight when you try to leave. (WarLocke) |
Shay's
Inn |
In
a word... 'ACK! (Charis) |
