This is a very simplistic PvE Ritualist build that I'm rather happy with. A ton of DPS, and easy and fun to play.
12 + 2 Communing (or add a sup if you like)
10-12 + 1 Channeling (if you want more spawning, pull it from here)
leftover in Spawning
Summon Spirits (Luxon)
Painful Bond
Offering of Spirit
Pain
Bloodsong
Vamprism (Sunspear)
Anguish
Fury
Skill Template: OACjAyiKJSDgVTHXGbRbfTlT+gA
Before the start of the first battle, set up Pain, Bloodsong, and Vamprism. Then cast Painful Bond on the enemy and engage, using Summon Spirits to move your spirit turret around. When either Pain/Bloodsong/Vampirism recharge, sacrifice one of them to Fury, then recast the spirit. Summon Anguish whenever you can, and use Offering on recharge to keep your energy up.
Learn to use summon spirits and love it. If your spirits are getting whacked on, reposition them away from the enemy with summon. Summon at least every compass range since the area of effect on the skill is limited.
You can easily sub in a res or something like shadowsong where needed.

DDR Video - And A Good One |

T-Hawk Wrote:Yes, we must see a video. So said T-Hawk in the last thread where I brought up the subject of the Dance Dance Revolution (DDR) games. I had a digital camera that would record video, but not sound; I actually did shoot some low-quality movies with it - too bad a dancing game video isn't much use without audio! This week I had to purchase a new camera for research purposes; I'm going to London next week for work in the archives and need a way of photographing large quantities of documents. Anyway, the point is that my research camera also turns out to shoot really good quality video as well, so I decided to try my hand at recording something to post here. This was the result:

Second song I tried was a 9-footer "AAA". Sometimes I amaze myself. As far as comments, I'll mention that this is fairly difficult as far as DDR songs go, ranking as a 9 out of 10 on the scale that the games use. Even though I already had a perfect score on this song, I was getting very nervous at the end, since I knew I was recording this on video. The final group of sixteenth note clusters at the end of the song was extremely close to a misstep; I rushed the last one but it didn't show up with a Great - whew! I also use way too much zoom at the end of the video, since I didn't realize just what the camera could do yet, heh. Here's a clearer picture of what the screen is displaying at the end:
![[Image: %23175-colorsc-AAA.jpg]](http://www.garath.net/Sullla/DDR/%23175-colorsc-AAA.jpg)
The one difference is that the screen is NOT displaying "It's a New Record!" in the video, since I already had gotten the "AAA" before. Anyway, I was very pleased with this, so I thought I'd pass it on to you. Enjoy!

Big Deal |

Hello. I'm thinking of pursuing the basic Big Deal title before Gwen comes out. I'm hoping some of you more experienced types can offer suggestions as to what would be the easiest titles left to max.
I already have the three normal mode mission titles. I'm thinking
Canthan explorer, some or all of the skillhunter titles, and possibly the HM mission titles (potentially more fun, but more likely beyond my level of skill).
(I'm working on my wisdom and treasure hunter titles, but not seriously)

Monster Madness |

So some of Hawkmoon's clever Alliance names (Charrmen of the Board, Rain Titan Acolytes, Wind Riders United) got me thinking of a variant theme. It probably won't go anywhere and if it does someone will need to flesh it out, but here goes.
The idea is to copy and play skillbars from various AIs in the game; be it balanced groups like charr, wardens, and margonites, strange beasts like madness titans or hydras, or even henchmen and special NPCs like Rurik and Togo. One might form a themed monster group to "play the role of charr" for an area, composed of blade warriors, shamans, and ash walkers. Or instead , mimic whatever opponents faced in the next zone or mission, whether just for the fun of it, or to insist on a fair fight, defeating foes with superior tactics rather than skills and build. You could add to the skill bars things that make you function more "monster-ly", like a run stance to emulate elementalist drakes, health/energy/armor boosts or health/energy regen that most critters have in abundance, faster recharge/IAS to emulate hard mode, or even skills that simulate monster skills (abbadon's chosen -> shielding hands) My feeling is that one might start to feel like Ember the Firebolt sorceress having to make do with such limited skill options against overwhelming foes.
You could also extend this the "Diablo" route (e.g. BloodKnight) by inventing all sorts of lore-related limitations, but then you'll be developing e.g. a specific "Charr" variant instead of the general thing I outlined here. Still fun stuff though.

I hope it isn't spam-ish, but since I'm fairly patriotic, I figure I will wish America a happy birthday today.
PS - To be inclusive, happy belated birthday Canada.
