I've been hoping to see someone offer to host, but that doesn't appear to be happening. Is it time for another RB WW hiatus or are you guys just hiding the game from me? :P

Scenario: Realms Beyond throughout its history has been a community of people that strive to challenge themselves in the games they play. That has predominantly been shown by playing variants of games, self-imposing restrictions to make a game a lot harder, for the prize of achieving victory under those restrictions.

This is a lightly edited map with some unusual geography compared to 'normal' maps (as shown by what the imaginary 'hut' pop), that will provide many interesting choices to make as you play through your game.
Scoring: None. Just play and regale us with tales of your experience.
However, I would encourage players to come up with some sort of variant to play out the game under. Think of something that you've never heard of someone having done in Civ before, or that would make achieving normal victory quite a lot harder, or that just sounds fun. This is as open ended as you want it to be (and I won't judge if you don't bother with coming up with a variant!), but here are some ideas to help get your brain turning:
Use one of the above or come up with your own. ![cool cool](https://www.realmsbeyond.net/forums/images/smilies/cool2.gif)
Closing Date: Monday, July 13, 2015. Reports due by the end of July 14, your local time.

The kind that moves the pointer on a monitor, not a furry friend.
Should be under £15, not break within 2 years (last one only lasted 8 months and needs to be comfortable to use by someone with a fairly large hand. All I need are LMB + RMB + middle mouse button which scrolls.

This morning, I logged on to my computer and noticed a "get Windows 10" button prominently displayed on my toolbar. The release date is July 29, according to CNet, and the upgrade button is really a "reserve your copy for when we actually finish the software" button.
Reviews seem to be positive so far, so I expect that I'll accept their offer of a free copy of the latest and greatest OS.

Anchorage, USA -- KAGG version 1.05.4036
Ginormasaurus, take 2! Note that due to this being 1.05, I don't have a choice of difficulty levels, so this is normal difficulty, by default.
Out of the gate I attack Anchorage and I am faced with a decision, do I want short term cash or do I try to flip Anchorage in one go? I haven't done a T1 city since the 1.03 patch added Defcon threat ramping into the mix, so I'm not sure how this will go except that I don't necessarily have a lot of time before more advanced defenders start showing up. I do know I need power and cash back home ASAP to build stuff, though, so I suppose I have to try to fill up first and worry about long-term income generation later.

I take a stroll through downtown Anchorage enroute to the local colleges, and I soon note that morale is dropping more quickly than I remember from back in 1.02. I seem to recall some adjustments being made along those lines when the defcon changes were made. It's not long before I get the 'ants' message.

So, maybe I don't have to decide whether to fill up or to flip, I can perhaps do both? Okay then. I fill up on books at the local colleges, then back into the downtown core for cash. Plus some purple rocks at the museum, natch. I think I'm getting a favourable enemy spawn draw this time around -- lots of infantry and jeeps, but not many light tanks. After blowing through a bunch of offices and a third national bank, I keep moving toward the refinery in order to gas up. Most of the enemy have fallen well behind at this point, so I don't take too much punishment and my health meter is still in decent shape.
After I hit the refinery and max out on power, the city's morale is low enough that I just have to burn out a couple residential districts, and the defenders throw in the towel. Well done, Gino!
