Hey, guys!
I wonder if anyone here is a practitioner and have some knowledge regarding meditation. I've been wanting to start doing it for a long time, but I'm a bit lost about how to begin. Is there some sort of book or any other thing that could help me get started? I'm kind of worried about buying things blindly, since it seems to be a subject that a lot of bad stuff can be written about.
I'm planning to visit a Buddhist Temple that exist close to where I live, since they give some free meditation classes. I think it can help a lot, but I think I can get good advice here too.
Thanks!

Story continues from the Set-up thread here.
The men stared at Loupe's cooling corpse in shock. Then slowly they looked at each other before silently trudging back and trudging back to the main square. Once there the rest of the village looked at them, hoping for good news. One of the men spoke up.
"They're dead. Maribeth. Loupe. Loupe... He wasn't human." The crowd looked skeptical. He threw open his arms. "He was a wolf! A wolf man! Whatever you want to call it we're all dead! He died because others killed him. If they can kill a wolfman, then these others..." He put his head in hands. "We're doomed."
"What do we do?"
"Run?"
"Fight!"
"With what?"
"Lawren has a sword I think."
"That's rusted to hell."
"There's too many of us though, strength in numbers we'll be fine!"
"We need a leader."
"We need a hunter!"
"We need a hunt leader!"
"Who?"
"Not me."
They looked at each other for a moment, unsure. One man put a his hand up, "We vote." He looked around and there were slow nods of agreement. Then the man who'd gone quiet looked up.
"You don't understand. Any of you could be these wolfmen. Loupe looked human! They change! They're shapeshifters! All of you! Any of you!"
Again the crowed looked around unsure. A few looked back to the parts of Old Thomas's body. Some wished he'd survived even if he had seemed crazy.
"Then we vote," repeated the original instigator looking at the hysterical villager. But he could not refute the man's last words.
"Aye, we vote and die."

[SIZE="3"]Rules:[/SIZE]
1. Each day will last 48 hours, Day 1 may be extended by 24 hours if not all players check in within the first 24 hours. (Please post if you are able to post. Purposefully delaying will seem like avoiding posting/an attempt to curry village credibility.) The day ends at 15:00 GMT. Votes at :59 will count, but :00 will not. The timestamp on the post is the judge.
2. Each person may vote for one person each day to be lynched.
3. Votes must be made in red or they will not count.
4. The person with the most votes at the end of the day will be lynched. Ties will be decided by the Lead Hunter (Mayor), who will get an extra vote on whichever person he is voting for in the case of a tie. If the Lead Hunter's vote is not on one of the two, they will be asked to choose.
5. The Lead Hunter (Mayor) will be decided by one vote per person in lime.
6. The day ends even if the GM is not present or online at the time of the deadline. A back-up GM, in the form of Gaspar, may also appear in extreme cases of drunkenness on my part.
7. After the day ends, there will be a 24-hour night. Players with night abilities may send a PM to me to use their power that night. Abilities will be used at the end of the night and processed in a logical order. You may cancel or change the target of your night ability until night ends. The last PM will override all previous PMs. PMs timestamped on or after :00 will not count for that night, as with voting. Any similar abilities that target the same target will be decided by random.org.
8. Wolf packs kill simultaneously.
9. Players may not communicate with each other outside the thread unless given specific instructions to do so.
10. Dead players may make one post after dying, but it must not affect the game in any way.
11. Anyone not voting for two days in a row will be killed in a fashion amusing to me.
12. Do not edit posts for any reason.
13. Anyone violating the rules will receive a warning or stronger punishment proportional to the violation.
14. Check your PMs and make sure you're alive before posting.
15. Players may not directly quote PMs from the GM in the game thread.
16. Win conditions are specified in role PMs
17. There are specific conditions that could end the game in a draw. I have noted a possible draw forced by players actions in certain role PMs. There are additional draw conditions that may occur such as rocks fall, everybody dies.
Villager Role PM
Quote:Villager - You are a normal villager. You fear for your life and at night huddle with those you think are friends. You vote to hang those same friends during the day. You hope there is safety in numbers... even though you know you are wrong.
Win Condition - You win with the town when all werewolves are dead and there is at least one villager alive.
All Role PMs contain flavor text and as such I will publish them all at the end of the game. During the game however flavor text will be omitted from the write-ups.
Also reminder of set-up reveals from the sign-up thread:
-Multiple Wolfpack
-Each Wolfpack starts with unique set-up information
-Simultaneous Kills
-A [strike]little over[/strike] almost/about half the players will be vanilla villagers.
-Minimum Power Roles
Have fun! I know I will!
Write-ups:
Day 1 End
Night 1 End
Day 2 End
Night 2 End
Day 3 End
Night 3 End
Day 4 End
Night 4 End
Day 5 End
Night 5 End
Day 6 End - Game End

I have a moment, so why not share my thoughts on the game.
The Setup:
We knew that the game would be slow, but at times the long waiting for the next turn was very frustrating.
If we ever decide on a new Team PBEM, we really need to make sure the optimal playing windows of every player is possible. Having team members follow each other in the turn order would be smoother to wage war as well.
Our Pick:
I'm really, really happy we managed to change our pick from Arendel to Jonas. Dwarves and Orcs allowed for lots of synergies, including the metal line troops, RoK and the techer/funder split. I think after Team Speed, ours was the strongest pairing.
Our Game:
We obviously got a lot out of For the Horde, managing to choke both Team Speed and Team Malabim (although we could have done a better job of it... ).
Darrell's positioning and leader allowed me to focus entirely on the builder's game, giving me those cities built by his Expansive, warrened empire, and soaking up all the barbs coming from the central jungle area. My cities were building Workers, Libraries and Dwarven Smithies while poor Darrell was [strike]sending unescorted/no-worker-support-having Settlers into the wild[/strike] building units to fend off the waves of Barbs.
I think the turning point came when we grabbed the Bone Palace, allowing me to quickly finish those awesome Dwarven Smithies, then grabbed Iron Working with the Engineer-rushed Tower of Divination. This gave us an unassailable MFG lead, which translated into a huge army once we turned those hammers into troops.
As for our future plans, we were about to kill both Thoth's and Mr Yellow's capitals, while simultaniously amassing a big army to send towards Team Speed, including Chalid.
Our southern forces would have split, leaving a pillaging force to kill the remaining cities, and sending the rest to smash into the Malakim-Vamps.
I'll have some more comments on our opponents in a bit, but I'll already say I had a lot of fun playing the game, planning my moves with Darrell (some would say bickering), so thanks guys!

Is training the Artisan worth it ? |

I wanted to ask, if somebody already knows if/when it is advisable to level the artisan ? I am still in normal difficulty and it seems I can get much better rare items for a fraction of gold in the auction house.
Maybe it would be a good strategy to spend gold in the AH in normal and nightmare difficulty and level the artisan once you get more gold in hell difficulty ?
