Guys (and dazedroyalty in particular), I've just pulled the dot mapper out of BUG and into its own stand alone mod. I've tested it (a little) but I was hoping that someone here would be interested in banging it around a little more.
At the moment, it is designed to be a totally independent and stand along mod - it may or may not work with other mods depending on what files the other mod modifies. Note that this version doesn't include the nice BUG options so if you actually want to change some of the options (ie brightness), you will need to track that value down in the python code and change it.
Once we are happy that we have a stable version, then someone can run it through the RB Mod Approval process.

This is the thread for game two devolving out from the Armageddon Game. If you would be interested in a new FfH PBEM, please post here.
No real settings decided yet, but would prefer to use the mod (EitB) to get Sareln some more intel. Apart from that, I vote for no other quirkiness.

Pretty cool presentation on the development of the art aspect of D3 and how they iterated on what they wanted to come to what the game looks like now. They have a nice chapter system so you can skip around to see what you want since the whole thing is an hour long.
If you've seen the cinematic trailer they put out earlier there's nothing spoilerly. You do see 3 different locations, but if you want to avoid that just skip "Developing environments".

Anyone here play? I'm kinda interested in watching how a game plays out, don't know the rules myself but I kinda wanted to try my hand at it after being reminded of the excellent Hikaru no Go anime. Anyway, is anyone decent at go here?

What are the keyboard shortcuts in 1.41m?
- I can't use "W" to make a unit wait. It works in the combat screen, but not in the overland view. I have to use the mouse for this command (only), and I prefer using the keyboard as much as possible in MoM.
- I can't use "L" to load the game, instead it selects "Patrol".
- I can't use "ESC" to get out of the Spells screen or the Info screen.
- I can't use auto-turn end. I find this very useful at the beginning of the game when there is not much to do but move your magic spirits around exploring.

What I've got in mind so far. Sound off in the comments, most especially civic changes and condensed thoughts from finished games? Also wanting thoughts on what to do with the Wither Promotion, Spirit III, and Shadow III.

I have a Civ V adventure I could post. Is anyone interested? Yes, I think it has genuinely become a good game at this point (though not as great as Civ IV, different enough to be worth playing too) with the sole exception of some bannable AI abuse. And if we're to be fair, Civ IV has some serious problems with AI abuse too.
If people are interested, there is one setting I want an opinion on: Quick or Normal speed? Normal has been traditional for adventures but nevertheless I heavily favor Quick.
