When I first see Zombie Mastery, I think it was useless spam of death global enchantment, it could only convert normal units died in combat into useless cute little zombie and I think it is like this until I realized that zombie that join you, although lost all of its original ability, it coming with original unit enchantment intact. Then I realized something terrible. Chaos channeled zombie (especially flying chaos enchantment) has potential to be the most horrified zombie you could have as chaos channeled zombie also treated as chaos creatures, thus it could get enchant power from global Chaos Surge and Blazing Eye on top of other death related enchantment!
For every chaos channeled units fallen to zombie mastery, You get ultimate horde of zombie in late game which could maw down much higher tiers of units and summon creature with ease, especially flying chaos channel enchantment, it would give addtional movement and turn zombie into unit with decent mobility that could fly!
What are your Zombie Mastery's experience?

Hello,
occasionally I have seen people give tech advice here that looked pretty competent at least to me, so I was wondering if somebody may have an idea for my problem:
My new laptop is actually almost a year old now (Black Friday 2020 purchase). Being a smartass I purchased it without a preinstalled Windows, because I have a valid license. So it came with a barebone OS called FreeDOS, and with the help of my workplace's IT admin I went and installed Windows 10 and started installing drivers - which is when the Bluescreens started. I will not go through the whole odyssey, but here's the relevant info:
- I'm installing Windows 10 Home (consumer edition). The iso I have is the version 1809_updated_sept_2018_x64
- The computer model is a Lenovo Legion Y740S-15IMH Laptop (ideapad) - Type 81YX
- The bluescreens come with the error message DRIVER_VERIFIER_DMA_VIOLATION
- Once it starts, they appear on every shutdown and occasionally during operation
- The first time when I allowed this to go on for a while the bluescreen eventually changed to CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED upon booting and the SSD was toast. I sent it in to Lenovo and they replaced the SSD but refuse to address the persisting problem because that's software and since they sold the machine without Windows their incompatible driver is somehow my fault.
After lots of trial and error I have narrowed the problem down to the Thunderbolt interface- when I manually install the Lenovo provided Intel Thunderbolt driver on a fresh Windows installation the problem starts immediately. Also if I run the automatic driver install/update process through Lenovo support
- I can install all other relevant drivers manually and everything is fine until Windows (automatically) installs the 20H2 function update. After that happens and the restart is performed somehow Thunderbolt Control Center gets installed immediately and without asking and the bluescreens start.
- The furthest I have gotten was by installing Windows and the relevant drivers, going through two loops of automated Windows updates, downloading the then due 20H2, shutting off WiFi, and installing the 20H2 update and restarting. As long as the system has no internet it remains stable. But even if I block automated driver updates (through Control Panel > System & Security > System > Advanced System Settings > Hardware > Device Installation Settings and a regedit entry that was recommended somewhere), the moment I connect the WiFi Thunderbolt gets installed and the problem begins. If before that I set a system recovery point and revert to it then it's ok again.
What does not work- deinstalling / removing the thunderbolt interfaces throuh device manager. Immediate bluescreen
- blocking automated driver updates (see above)
I don't even care for Thunderbolt, I don't have a device that would connect through it. But the machine's power supply runs through one of the plugs (if I understand right), so ripping them out is not quite viable (also warranty ).
I am at a loss at what to try next and as I mentioned the Lenovo has not been very helpful (and currently, they don't accept e-mails because of service overload. Yes.) So if somebody has a good idea it would be much appreciated. To the generous finder of a solution I can offer continued PB59 spam, and a city of choice or distinguished unit renamed in their honour.
Thanks in advance!

Dear Community,
I'm currently experimenting with a 10 sorcery book/2 life book/high elf build. But I'm fairly new to the game and would like your input on what spells to pick.
For sorcery commons I got:
Nagas (for summoning)
Floating Island (in case I start on an island)
Focus Magic*
Confusion (can act like a save or die spell)
Would you rather pick phantom warriors or psionic blast? I dunno which spell is more important for combat. AEther Sparks seem really circumstantial. I'm not aware of lairs where Guardian Wind would help, fantastic creatures tend to have magical ranged attacks. Resist Magic is strong, but I think it can be researched later (mistake?).
*I do not quite get why Focus Magic is considered to be so strong. Especially in the Summon Sprites combo: Why not make more sprites? Focus Magic seems quite expensive, you could just get more summons instead (which are also harder to get rid of). It can provide Nagas with a ranged attack to go with flight and cheese some lairs, that's why I picked it.
Early Uncommons:
Flight and Water Elemental.
Flight should allow me to safely clear some lairs (hopefully not too late). Water Elementals are quite the upgrade over Nagas.
Early Rares:
Storm Giant and Uranus' Blessing.
Upgrading summons seems almost always useful and Uranus' Blessing allows very simple scaling. Wind Walking seems strong but more circumstantial, Reinforce Magic might be rather expensive to be gotten early. Dunno if Reinforce Magic should be prioritized instead (maybe instead of the giants?).
Guaranteed Very Rares:
Sky Drake, Wind Mastery and Magic Immunity seem great picks. Sky Drake for a guaranteed very rare summon, Wind Mastery because mobility is great and it cuts down on micro. Magic Immunity just seems too strong not to pick (although Haste and Time Stop seem like top picks too).
For light, I picked Heavenly Light. That allows growth and defense, which seem useful for a strategy that is likely peaceful early game.
What do you think about the spell picks?
Thanks in advance for input!
