American Pancakes
Ingredients:
3 large free-range eggs
100 g whole spelt flour
20 g wheat flour
1 heaped teaspoon baking powder
140 ml milk
1 pinch salt
Method
First separate the eggs, putting the whites into one bowl and the yolks into another. Add the flour, baking powder and milk to the yolks and mix to a smooth thick batter. Whisk the whites with the salt until they form stiff peaks. Fold into the batter – it is now ready to use.
Heat a good non-stick pan on a medium heat. Pour some of your batter into the pan and fry for a couple of minutes until it starts to look golden and firm. At this point sprinkle your chosen flavouring (see below) on to the uncooked side before loosening with a spatula and flipping the pancake over. Continue frying until both sides are golden.
You can make these pancakes large or small, to your liking. You can serve them simply doused in maple syrup and even with some butter or crème fraîche. Or if you choose to sprinkle with a flavouring, try one of these...
fresh corn from the cob
crispy bacon or pancetta
blueberries
banana
stewed apple
grated chocolate
anything else you can imagine...
PS: You've got to eat those with whole strips of bacon baked into the dough and Canadian maple syrup.

So has anyone here tried out the new Gal Civ yet? Just went into alpha recently. Haven't had a chance to try it out yet myself but wondering how it's shaping up even if it's still early.

This poll follows up on the PB16 post-game discussions. I find the topic interesting, and I'd really like to see how much people's opinions vary. Feel free to ignore it if you don't care about it, and there's no need to rehash all the arguments as it was covered quite well there (unless you feel so inclined). The poll is public, and obviously you can pick multiple options (one for each poll question). Brief explanation of the questions and options:
REVENGE
Means how often you'll resort to revenge when messed with, including how much it takes to make you react this way. The percentages in parenthesis are obviously made up numbers, only included for illustrative purposes.
SACRIFICE
Refers to how much of a personal loss you're willing to bear in order to get even, in terms of chances of winning the game. This question assumes that you still have a chance of winning, even if slight. Note that anything which you believe helps you win the game in the long run is not considered a sacrifice, even if it comes at a cost to you.
STYLE WHEN LOSING
This is about how you act when you decide that you no longer have a chance of winning. It assumes that at least one player has messed with you during the game, of course, whether or not that is the reason you're out of the running. It also assumes that you have enough strength to play for #2, and let's say it's for a 5-6 player game.
ANONYMITY
In a hypothetical anonymous game where noone will ever know your identity, will you be LESS inclined to seek revenge than usual? In other words, do you see revenge as a matter of establishing reputation for future games?
TIME
How long did it take you to fill out this poll?

Game link
(this version has the biggest playing area, if you can put up with 30 seconds of ads)
This is a game all about parking cars on time, in crowded Indian parking lots. Sounds fun, right? It is! It takes no time to learn, little time to play and a surprising amount of skill to master. Or maybe I just suck at it. Your run ends when you bump into something, but you can practice individual levels. My best run is somewhere around level 10 so far, got to level 9 just now and ran out of time.
And it has a funky soundtrack.

i had a look at the latest version of the tweaker this week and it's awesome. i like that you put so many things in tables. if we could export these tables to csv (and import), modding would be alot more comfortable. being able to import/export also the global unit and spell datat would also allow modders to transfer their mod to new versions of the insecticide patch quite easily.
is that complicated?
